Rachael graduated from Vanderbilt Divinity School with a Master of Theological Studies in 2022 and is in the ordination process to become a deacon in the United Methodist Church. Currently, Rachael is serving as Director of Formation & Impact. In this role, she works on big-picture programming initiatives. She cares about creating spaces for people to encounter God through contemplative practices to become more generous, grounded, and loving people. Rachael has a husband, Cody, and a dog, Jake. Annabel started volunteering with Mountain T.O.P. in 2017 and spent two years on Summer Staff and a year in AmeriCorps service before becoming a Service Area Manager. She works to match the skills of the volunteers to projects as they are planned and completed. As well as to update van notebooks and construction guides for volunteers. In the summer, she supports Camp Baker Mountain in Spencer, TN and the service project team. Annabel is also in charge of all our merchandise in the Camp Store and Canteen. She has served camps in Florida, Kansas, and Hawaii prior to and while living at Narrow Ridge Earth Literacy Center in Washburn, TN. Working with Mountain T.O.P. is a wonderful opportunity to learn and grow with the staff as we serve central Tennessee. Martha has one daughter, who lives in Knoxville. She shares life with 2 dogs and 3 cats. Her hobbies include pottery, embroidery, and music. A love of the natural world drives her to learn about each environment in which she lives. She graduated from the University of Memphis with a B.S. in Nursing in 2018 and has spent the last handful of years practicing as a pediatric nurse. Hailey first came to Mountain T.O.P. as a camper and later served on summer staff for two summers. She’s excited to shift into nonprofit ministry and return to serving on the Mountain. As Director of Camp Operations, Hailey is responsible for all the people coming through the gates of camp, from the moment of registration all the way through their post-event follow-ups. Hailey is also in charge of all our merchandise in the camp store and canteen. During the summer, one of her main roles is supporting the Day Camp program and staff. Hailey also organizes and facilitates our annual Fall Festival. A fun fact about Hailey is that she and her husband, JT, have visited 26 national parks together. I recently served on the Mountain T.O.P. Board of Directors as well. I live in Nashville and am a data analyst with a healthcare company. I had such a great experience reconnecting with old friends and meeting new ones last year when I was a participant in Alumni Camp. I wanted to play a bigger role this year as a volunteer staff member, and help make things happen behind the scenes. Since then I served five summers on staff, two springs with Break Out, a summer intern, and even came back to help with staff building in 1994. I am currently living in New Hope, Minnesota with my wife Sara. After leaving MTOP I helped to start The Edge Ministries, was Director at Kingswood Camp & Retreat Center, worked with Youth Specialties and YouthWorks and am currently Food Shelf and Facilities Manager at PROP Food Shelf. I also enjoyed my time as a Game Master at Mission Manor Escape Rooms. She lives in Birmingham, AL where she has worked as a pediatric PT, primarily in a school system, for 30 years. She attributes her staff years at MTOP for not only providing a strong foundation for the necessary work of serving God’s children, but for the many things she has used in her professional and personal life. She is married to Brad and has 2 (almost) adult children, Lydia and Brady.
